University of Helsinki enhances education with Kramer AV

The University of Helsinki sought to upgrade the AV systems across its campuses to provide more collaborative and versatile learning spaces. Their challenge was to replace an insecure, open-network wireless presentation system that was suffering hundreds of daily security attacks, while also eliminating cable clutter and simplifying the user experience. They turned to vendor Kramer for a solution using the VIA Connect Plus and VIA Connect² products.

Kramer implemented its VIA wireless presentation system, which operates on a secure, closed network with frequent firmware updates, immediately eliminating the data attacks. The solution provided an easy-to-use, remotely manageable platform that supports native Microsoft Teams and Zoom integration. The university has transformed 150 learning spaces, saved on cabling costs, and continues to expand the system due to its success, solidifying its satisfaction with Kramer.
