NTU’s Global Lounge Hits the Right Note with Students and Faculty

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) sought to create a comfortable Global Lounge for its international students and faculty to interact and relax. A key challenge was designing an AV system that could provide personalized TV and media content to students while also being capable of hosting formal presentations. They worked with vendor Kramer and systems integrator PAVE System on the project.

The solution implemented by Kramer utilized multiple Kramer Scalers alongside a video matrix switcher and LCD panels to manage multiple input sources and display them across various screens. This allowed for personalized video-on-demand selection. The project was completed on time within two weeks, and the vendor Kramer was noted for providing essential support and loan units during the design and customization phases, resulting in a versatile lounge that successfully serves both recreational and presentation purposes.
