Norman’s Bar upgrades its AV quality and reliability with Kramer devices

Kramer helped the Norman Hotel, an iconic Australian steakhouse and bar, overcome challenges with an unreliable and outdated audio-visual system in its venue, Norman's Bar. The bar's 12 TVs frequently broke down and could not be easily controlled by staff using a single, mobile iPad, negatively impacting the patron experience. The goal was to upgrade to HD video, improve audio quality and reliability, and enable easier control for the staff.

The solution implemented by Kramer included a multi-format digital matrix switcher, a room controller, a control gateway, and fixed touch panels running the Kramer Control application. This upgrade provided more reliable, high-quality audio and HD video. The results included high satisfaction from management, a vastly improved patron experience, and saved staff time as they could now control the system easily from fixed panels located around the bar.
