Kramer Transmitters/Receivers Keep Lines Open at AT&T

The customer, AT&T, sought to improve the customer service experience and manage client flow within its retail locations. They required a robust and flexible technology solution to handle the varied in-store environments. The vendor, Kramer, provided its TP-112HD twisted pair transmitter and PT-120 twisted pair receiver to form the core of this new queuing system.

Kramer’s solution involved utilizing its transmitter/receiver pairs to send data from self-service kiosks to large display monitors via twisted pair cabling. This allowed the system to track customer wait times and positions in line, which were clearly displayed for shoppers to see. The implementation by Kramer resulted in a more efficient and pleasant in-store experience for guests, provided managers with valuable traffic pattern data, and allowed for over 300 stores to be equipped with a reliable system that is now being rolled out nationwide.
