A Kramer Case Study
Bertelsmann, a global media powerhouse, sought to transform a historic Berlin building into a modern "House of Representatives" and interactive multimedia center. Their challenge was to create a flexible and technologically advanced venue for conferences and events, requiring a robust system to manage and distribute a wide variety of audiovisual content to numerous display points for visitors.
The solution was built around a large-scale Kramer 40x106 matrix switcher, which was installed at the heart of the new AV system. This Kramer switcher allows for the seamless switching of various video sources—including live broadcasts and special clips—to any of the 106 plug-and-play connectors located throughout the building's foyer. As a result, visitors can easily connect LCD panels to instantly receive dynamic visual information about Bertelsmann's activities, creating a highly engaging and modern multimedia experience.
