Case Study: Main Event Entertainment achieves fully digital AV for its San Antonio center with Kramer CORE

Kramer CORE™ Products at Heart of First All−Digital Main Event Entertainment™ Building

Main Event Entertainment, an entertainment center, required a completely digital AV infrastructure for their new San Antonio facility. Their challenge was finding a switching solution powerful enough to handle the high volume of video sources and distribute them at the required resolution to numerous displays throughout the large building. The vendor, Kramer, provided its CORE matrix switchers to form the heart of this new system.

Kramer implemented an end-to-end solution utilizing two VS-3232D matrix switchers, numerous twisted pair transmitters and receivers, scalers, and distribution amplifiers. This system successfully distributed content from various sources to 35 large-screen TVs and 11 projectors, resulting in a crystal clear, uniform image on every display regardless of the long cable runs. The scalable Kramer solution empowered Main Event Entertainment to achieve its goal of a fully digital AV experience, positioning them as a leader in digital entertainment and providing a blueprint for upgrading their other nine locations.
