Kramer and Sierra Video Respond to Emergency Center

Robertson County 911 Emergency Command Center needed a dual-purpose emergency communications hub for information sharing and crisis management that also functioned as a daily-use training facility. Working with systems integrator Kramer and Sierra Video, they implemented a solution featuring a Kramer 16x8 RGB HD router, a Kramer 6x6 DVI switcher, and a Sierra Video audio router to meet this challenge.

The solution from Kramer and Sierra Video routed video and audio through the secure facility to an 18-seat training room, enabling emergency personnel to share data on large displays and monitor multiple news feeds. The intuitive system was noted for being easy to use and provided at a great price. The new center serves over 62,000 county residents, and officials praised the amazing end result that took five years of planning to achieve.
