Karhubasket scores a major victory with its new AV equipped arena

Karhubasket, a professional basketball team, needed to equip its new multipurpose arena in Finland with an AV system to create an immersive fan experience. Their challenge was to enable easy sharing of content from various sources without requiring a specialist to be onsite during games. They chose Kramer to implement an AV over IP solution.

Kramer implemented a system using 50 KDS-7 encoders/decoders and the Kramer Control platform with iPad-based touch panels. The results included a highly engaging experience for fans and extreme ease of use for operators, which eliminated the need for a specialist onsite and reduced service calls. The system's reliability and the excellent local support from Kramer ensured the project was a complete success, fully meeting Karhubasket's expectations.
