ITM Group Installs Kramer products in Birmingham’s Technology Innovation Centre

The Technology Innovation Centre, a facility at the University of Central England, required a new content creation and digital asset management system for use by students and local businesses. The challenge was to build and integrate a bespoke, cutting-edge audio-visual facility that could seamlessly link a TV studio with a digital management system. Kramer's products, including their matrices and distribution amplifiers, were selected for the installation by integrator ITM Group.

The solution implemented by Kramer, through ITM Group, was a £500,000 Content Creation Facility. This advanced AV system successfully integrated the TV studio's content into the Digital Asset Management facility, a key requirement. The project allowed the centre to leverage its infrastructure to offer content more efficiently and to a wider audience. Kramer's technology helped reduce the overall cost of delivery while vastly increasing its reach.
