Case Study: Municipality of Ramat Gan achieves reliable 24/7 command and control with Kramer

Israeli municipality ready to handle any situation with its Kramer-equipped Command & Control Center

The Municipality of Ramat Gan required a new Command & Control center to seamlessly monitor and coordinate all municipal services and emergency response activities. The challenge was to create a unified, extremely reliable system with zero failures to ensure clear communication and continuity of operations under any conditions, all within a tight four-month deadline. They partnered with vendor Kramer to implement a comprehensive AV over IP (AVoIP) solution.

Kramer implemented a solution using its KDS-7 line of encoders, decoders, and a KC-Virtual Brain to create a highly secure and functional network. The result was a central command hub with 120 endpoints spread over two floors, enabling any station to share 4K video with the central command at the click of a button. The system ensures accurate, timely response and reliable continuity of services. The entire project, from design to the center being fully operational, was completed by Kramer in just four months, greatly impressing the municipality and solidifying a strategic partnership.
