Illinois State University classrooms go digital with a seamless user-interface from Kramer

Illinois State University sought to simplify its classroom technology after faculty struggled with the AV systems, leading to a high number of incidents and service calls. The university engaged Kramer to implement a digital audio-video solution that would create a seamless user experience for instructors across 320 classrooms, allowing them to easily switch between different video sources.

Kramer installed its VP-773A and ProScale presentation scaler/switchers in every classroom, providing a standardized and easy-to-use interface. The results were a staggering plummet in the incident rate and a significant reduction in service calls. Doug Smith, the Director of Learning Spaces, stated that the "rock-solid" Kramer solution provided ongoing cost savings for the university.
