Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD makes teaching and learning more interactive, with Kramer technology

The Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District (HEB ISD) faced the challenge of increasing student engagement by enabling teachers to move freely around the classroom and share content wirelessly. The district needed a flexible, scalable, and secure solution that could be centrally managed across its 1,633 classrooms and 36 buildings without incurring recurring subscription costs. They turned to vendor Kramer and its VIA collaboration solution to meet this need.

Kramer implemented its VIA GO devices alongside VIA Site Management software. This allowed teachers to share content from any device, including Chromebooks, PCs, and Apple products, while administrators could manage the entire system from a central location. The solution was secure, met the district's network requirements, and eliminated software license fees. The result was a successful increase in active learning, with widespread daily adoption by teachers who were freed to interact more directly with their students.
