GateWay Community College complements its renovation with a state-of-the-art AV system

Gateway Community College, a large community college in Arizona, required a new state-of-the-art AV system for its renovated and new buildings. Their challenge was to create a simple, standardized system across all rooms to provide easy access to digital and HDCP content for students and faculty, minimize tech support calls, and reduce cabling size and cost.

The vendor, Kramer, implemented a solution centered on their VP-729 scaler/switcher and TP-574 transmitters. This standardized setup was installed in over 23 classrooms and other spaces. The results included an intuitive, high-performing AV system that provided the desired content access. The college reported significantly fewer calls to its technical support team and achieved space and cost savings, with Kramer's pricing noted as a major success factor.
