Facepunch Studios, an independent game developer, needed to equip its new Birmingham office with a flexible AV system for seamless BYOD conferencing, wireless collaboration, and a high-impact reception area with video walls to create a "wow" factor. To meet these goals, they partnered with vendor Kramer and system integrator Vision On AV Systems to implement an IP-based solution.

Kramer's solution utilized their VIA collaboration platforms, an encoder/decoder setup for the video walls, and the KC-BRAINware-5 for centralized control. The result was a seamless and intuitive AV system that enabled easy wireless conferencing on any platform and automated room control. Facepunch now benefits from vastly improved collaboration for its international team and a reception area that delivers the intended dramatic effect on visitors.
