Amec Foster Wheeler reduces clutter and improves control with a well-designed AV system

Amec Foster Wheeler, a global engineering and project management company, needed to outfit their new Houston office with a reliable and intuitive AV system for multiple conference and training rooms. Their challenge was to reduce tabletop clutter with discreet hardware and ensure simple, push-button operation for users while supporting both HDMI and VGA connections. They partnered with vendor Kramer and integrator Industrial Audio/Video Inc. to find a solution.

Kramer implemented a streamlined solution using their VP-434 and VP-435 scalers, along with supporting cables, to create simple and consistent systems for 25 rooms. The result was a 100% reliable setup with excellent image quality where all hardware was hidden from view, eliminating clutter. The Kramer system provided an intuitive user experience, allowing employees to access technology with a single button press for improved communication and collaboration.
