Tyson Foods boosts HR access for 130,000 team members with KPMG

Tyson Foods, Inc., a major global supplier of meat products, faced a challenge in providing efficient HR services and support to its large and diverse workforce, particularly its over 100,000 front-line workers. To improve the team member experience and expand HR services globally, Tyson partnered with vendor KPMG to leverage the Workday and ServiceNow platforms for a wide-ranging HR transformation.

KPMG implemented a solution that redesigned Tyson's HR operating model around shared services and deployed ServiceNow's HR Service Delivery solution as an experience layer on top of Workday. This provided team members with AI-powered self-service tools, virtual agents, and real-time translation capabilities. The results were significant, with 65% of US team members accessing the new solution within four weeks of its launch. KPMG's solution also deployed 3,500 self-service tablets for front-line workers and saw mobile pay slip access increase by over 150%, greatly enhancing efficiency and engagement.
