ON Semiconductor, a $6 billion+ semiconductor company with over 36,000 employees, lacked an analytical solution for its Human Capital Management (HCM) application. This gap prevented their business users from accessing vital business intelligence, high-performance reports, and ad hoc reporting capabilities. KPI Partners delivered a Snowflake-based analytics data warehouse for HCM data, utilizing Power BI for reporting and Apache Airflow for ETL orchestration. The solution included an out-of-the-box analytics model for Core HR, Performance, Goals, and Compensation, along with a complex centralized security layer to protect sensitive data. The results provided users with the ability to perform ad hoc reporting and subscribe to pre-built dashboards. KPI Partners implemented Airflow to schedule and monitor over 200 ETL jobs and automated data quality checks to ensure accuracy.
