Major Railways Organization, an IT umbrella set up by India’s Ministry of Railways to manage projects across the fourth‑largest railway network in the world, faced fragmented, siloed project work with no central portfolio visibility, poor planned‑vs‑actual tracking, limited resource and skills management, no unified task/timesheet system, weak governance and laborious reporting. Kovair Software implemented Kovair PPM — a 100% browser‑based PPM platform delivering Portfolio, Project, Resource, Timesheet, centralized skills database, workflow automation, task scheduler (Gantt/PERT) and real‑time reports/dashboards.
