Implementing a Complex Integration Use Case with the Kovair Omnibus

Fortune 500 Company, a large multinational software-products corporation, was using a mix of best-of-breed and home‑grown tools (custom Salesforce Force.com app, IBM Rational Team Concert, HP Quality Center, Jenkins, etc.) and suffered from manual, time-consuming synchronization, heavy tool customizations, many distributed projects and users, and failed attempts by other vendors to deliver workable integrations. Kovair Software was engaged to provide an open integration and process automation framework (Kovair Omnibus and Kovair Global Lifecycle/Omniprocess) to connect these disparate tools and eliminate fragile point‑to‑point integrations.

Kovair Software implemented an on‑premise proof‑of‑concept using Kovair Omnibus and Omniprocess, configuring five integration use cases that automated end‑to‑end flows—replicating and linking artifacts, triggering Jenkins builds from RTC check‑ins, creating tests in HP QC from RTC stories, and propagating status updates back to Salesforce. The codeless, adapter‑based solution required minimal customization, cut out manual synchronization, enabled traceability across tools, and successfully demonstrated all use cases to senior stakeholders, delivering a scalable, maintainable integrated tool ecosystem.
