Global Networking Company was running CA Clarity for Planning and Rally for Development Execution but the two systems didn’t communicate, leaving Planning and Execution teams out of sync. To resolve this, they engaged Kovair Software to integrate the tools (using Kovair Omnibus and a custom Clarity adapter) so that changes made by the Planning team in Clarity would be reflected automatically in Rally.

Kovair Software developed a customized Clarity adapter and used Kovair Omnibus to map Clarity Project artifacts to Rally Portfolio Theme, Initiative and Feature with a unidirectional, near–real-time sync from Clarity to Rally. The solution moved from POC to production in about 20 weeks, met the company’s PL 9000 compliance requirement, went live on schedule, and restored planning/execution alignment—improving project efficiency and data consistency across teams.
