UNSW expands platform-independent learning with Kotobee across multiple ebook formats

The Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at UNSW faced a challenge with its platform-specific digital course materials, which were created in Apple iBooks and were difficult to update. This approach hindered the school's ability to meet its students' evolving learning needs. AGSM sought a new vendor, Kotobee, to find a more flexible and sustainable solution.

Kotobee provided its authoring and library solutions, which allowed AGSM to reuse its existing InDesign files and export content into multiple formats. This platform-independent approach gave students offline access to an interactive ebook library and integrated with the university's LMS. The solution enhanced the learning experience with features like highlighting and note-taking, and it opened pathways for other courses to adopt interactive materials.
