How with Kotobee, he and Dr. Jeffrey Reed created the world’s first interactive multimedia textbook on 5G cellular communication

Virginia Tech professors, Dr. Nishith Tripathi and Dr. Jeffrey Reed, faced the challenge of creating the world's first interactive multimedia textbook on 5G. They needed a platform that could integrate over 100 HD videos and podcasts without creating a massive file, while also providing security, interactive exercises, and a true ebook format. Existing solutions like Adobe InDesign and Amazon Kindle were unable to meet all these requirements.

Kotobee provided the solution by enabling the professors to seamlessly import their Adobe InDesign template and integrate BookWidgets for interactive exercises. Crucially, Kotobee’s cloud-based video hosting allowed the ebook file itself to be a mere 300 MB, just 0.03% of the original content's size, while providing secure access to over 100 GB of multimedia. This resulted in the successful creation of a pioneering, secure, and highly engaging educational resource with no direct competition in its field.
