Flydocs, an aviation document asset management platform, needed to classify millions of maintenance and repair records accurately so each document could be tied to the correct aircraft or component for compliance and operations. The manual process was slow and labor-intensive, especially when searching for critical repair items within vast volumes of routine records, so Flydocs worked with Kortical and its AI cloud platform to move beyond traditional RPA and use NLP-based intelligent automation.

Kortical implemented an OCR plus machine learning solution that automatically trained NLP models on document examples, deployed the best model into Flydocs’ platform, and routed low-confidence cases to human reviewers to keep improving the system over time. The result was automation of over 98% of document classification, saving significant manual effort, speeding up onboarding of new customers and aircraft, and helping Flydocs maintain high accuracy while scaling a smarter, self-learning workflow.
