John Wolfhooker, a progressive four-piece rock band from Prague, needed a new way to stay connected with fans and generate income when COVID-19 made traditional live engagement impossible. They turned to Korkuma’s livestream solution to keep interacting with supporters and sell merchandise and albums directly through their website.

Korkuma helped John Wolfhooker run an authentic livestream from their recording studio using just an iPhone and a few simple social media posts to promote the event. The first stream drew almost 400 viewers with an average viewing time of nearly 13 minutes, and during the 90-minute session the band increased item sales by 80% versus the previous three months; merchandise sales from the livestream equaled 62% of the band’s average monthly online store revenue.
