Rumsey Electric, a wholesale electric distributor serving the Philadelphia tri‑state area, needed real‑time access to raw ERP data from Activant’s Eclipse (on Rocket UniVerse) to create custom sales, budget and price‑analysis reports. To replace labor‑intensive, stale reporting that could take a day to prepare, Rumsey engaged Kore Technologies and its Kourier Integrator (with SQL Accelerator) to build a SQL Server data warehouse and enable frequent automated updates.

Kore Technologies implemented a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 data warehouse (120GB) using Kourier Integrator for U2, SQL Accelerator, Net Change technology and an Operational Data Store for Eclipse, loading initial data within a week and providing 18 prebuilt exports to jump‑start the project. The data warehouse now refreshes every 15 minutes (hourly at night), with the longest Net Change export taking 12 seconds, delivering real‑time dashboards in SharePoint/Excel, faster actionable reporting for managers and sales reps, lower ownership costs, and operational reporting handled by a non‑DBA after minimal training.
