Kourier Integrator Does the Heavy Lifting for Hercules Tire Company

Hercules Tire & Rubber Company, a global tire marketer and distributor, needed better analytics and real-time ordering connectivity for its Epicor Eclipse (UniVerse) ERP data. They engaged Kore Technologies and its Kourier Integrator (with SQL Accelerator and ETL/RESTful capabilities) to normalize MultiValue data into Microsoft SQL Server and enable system-to-system ordering.

Kore Technologies used Kourier Integrator to map about 90% of Hercules’ data and deliver a predefined operational data store, with the final 10% completed quickly via Kourier’s Quick Start Workbench and profiling tools, enabling BI and improved reporting. Kore Technologies then implemented RESTful web services to link Hercules’ UniVerse database to Ford’s ATW and other POS systems, providing real-time inventory lookups in seconds, an ROI measured in months (not years), and an expected large increase in dealer orders and expanded integration projects.
