Kore Technologies Gives Womack Electric Supply the Tools for Ecommerce Success

Womack Electric Supply, a family-owned electrical distributor with 17 branches, wanted to expand its geographic reach and add an eCommerce channel for tool sales and online catalogs while integrating with its existing Epicor Eclipse ERP. To achieve a fast, flexible web presence, Womack turned to Kore Technologies and its KommerceServer eCommerce Suite to build and brand a new tools storefront that could tie directly into their back-office systems.

Kore Technologies implemented KommerceServer integrated with Eclipse, pulling product data into a Microsoft SQL Server database and enabling easy admin-level product imports and site customization. The solution allowed rapid rebranding and launch (the tools site went live April 1, 2015), delivered roughly 600 unique visits in the first two weeks, dramatically shortened expected time-to-market, and prompted Womack to consider migrating its main electrical site to Kore as well.
