Tetra Pak Technical Service AB in Lund needed to scale its automated spare-parts warehouse to support global distribution and planned growth. They turned to Körber AG, extending their existing K.Store miniload system—part of a partnership that began in 2001—to add capacity and ensure reliable, centralized supply of spare parts.

Körber AG supplied two additional K.Store miniload cranes (bringing the total to 11), customized double retrievers, an extended conveyor loop and increased pick-loop buffer, together with a three-year service agreement and ongoing maintenance. The 12 m high installation now covers 11 cranes × 5,616 locations (almost 62,000 crates), and Körber AG’s service and reporting have delivered consistently high availability—often 100% measured over 24 hours—improving uptime and operational confidence.
