MANGO - Customer Case Study

MANGO, a global fashion retailer with over 2,200 stores and 15,000 employees, needed a system to meet its rigorous business plan and tight same‑day shipping windows across a 180,000 m2 distribution center in Lliçà d’Amunt. The challenge was to fully automate goods receiving, storage and picking for both hanging and flat-packed garments, provide transparent goods control across all warehouse areas, and increase shipping performance while processing orders just in time. Körber AG was selected to deliver the solution using K.Motion WMS and K.Motion DOM.

Körber AG implemented K.Motion WMS to control automated goods flows — including an integrated shuttle system and 25 m high-bay stacker cranes — and K.Motion DOM as the distributed order management layer for central stock visibility and configurable order planning. The solution automates goods recording, VAS workflows, MDT-guided order picking and last‑minute shipment rescheduling, enabling MANGO to prepare a package for shipping within 120 minutes, achieve fully automated goods control, and increase flexibility in handling hanging and flat-packed goods, supported by a local Körber team for ongoing support and proactive maintenance.
