Indomilk (PT Indolakto), part of the Indofood Group, faced rapid growth that required higher pallet storage capacity, a solution that fit within existing floor space, and a scalable system to increase throughput. Körber AG was engaged to address these challenges with an automated warehousing solution, including an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) and WMS/MFC software.

Körber AG implemented the ASRS in phased deployment—installing automatic handling equipment, racking, and WMS/MFC—delivering Indomilk’s first ASRS in Surabaya and its largest distribution center in Indonesia. The solution doubled storage space, increased production capacity by 25%, enabled service to overseas markets, and provided the scalability needed for future growth.
