A Körber AG Case Study
Nassau Provisions, a New York-based food distributor, faced critical operational challenges: a paper-based, manual warehouse system, complex holiday product variants (notably during Passover) and surging demand that exposed training and accuracy risks. To modernize operations and handle peak-season and pandemic spikes, Nassau Provisions selected Körber AG and its solutions K. Motion Warehouse Edge and later K. Motion Screen-to-Voice.
Körber AG implemented K. Motion Warehouse Edge in five months and added K. Motion Screen-to-Voice to enable hands-free picking and faster onboarding of temporary staff. The combined solution drove a 133% increase in nightly cases picked (from ~9,000 to ~21,000), cut the picking workforce by 55%, reduced training time by about 50%, and provided the capacity to absorb daily volume swings of 30–40%, while improving accuracy and safety.
