Heel GmbH, an international pharmaceutical company operating in more than 50 countries, needed a logistics solution that would support processes across its entire distribution center and meet stringent pharmaceutical requirements such as validation. To address this, Heel engaged Körber AG to implement SAP EWM (decentral) together with SAP EWM/MFS, while retaining its existing pick-by-light system.

Körber AG delivered a fully integrated material flow and warehouse management landscape, providing a single system for warehouse operations, material flow control, and an IT architecture aligned with Heel’s long-term SAP strategy. The implementation reduced the number of interfaces, simplified system management, and consolidated logistics processes under Körber AG’s SAP-based solution.
