GRTgaz, a subsidiary of the ENGIE group that operates the longest high-pressure natural gas transmission network in Europe, set out to build a new national logistics platform to boost performance. To increase productivity and manage products of varying sizes and weights, GRTgaz needed a configurable warehouse management system and selected Körber AG and its WMS solution.

Körber AG implemented its WMS across the consolidated seven-site platform, delivering a tailor-made system that created two process chains for handling items from receipt to shipment and added document management for optimal traceability. The Körber AG solution enabled high-performance productivity on the national platform and streamlined operations and traceability across GRTgaz’s logistics sites.
