Ferros Puig, a specialist retailer of high-quality steel and iron based in Fornells de la Selva, Spain, faced increasing complexity across its warehouse and transport operations as it grew its construction-materials business. To create an efficient, end-to-end and future-proof system landscape, Ferros Puig engaged logistics software specialist Körber AG and deployed the K.Motion Logistics Suite — specifically K.Motion WMS, K.Motion TMS and K.Motion POD.

Körber AG implemented K.Motion WMS across three sites (including a 13,000 m2 girders site), equipped about 50 employees with mobile data terminals, and rolled out K.Motion TMS and K.Motion POD for route planning, real‑time transport visibility and last‑mile proof of delivery. The integrated solution delivered full stock and batch traceability for over 4,000 SKUs, real‑time tracking across more than 2,500 customers and automated delivery-to‑ERP invoicing; Ferros Puig reports considerably increased productivity and significantly reduced picking and transport error rates after the implementation.
