Enhance your supply chain strategy

Kirkland’s, a specialty home‑décor retailer operating more than 340 stores, needed to overhaul its supply chain as it moved from a direct‑to‑store model to a centralized distribution network (Jackson, TN DC: 771,000 sq. ft., ~2,200 SKUs). With virtually no visibility into inventory and 8,000 40‑ft containers arriving annually, Kirkland’s engaged Körber AG to provide warehouse, yard and supplier visibility solutions to support aggressive growth.

Körber AG deployed K.Motion Warehouse Advantage in the Jackson DC, K.Motion Yard Advantage for yard operations, and its supplier management system (188 vendors on the portal) to enable ASNs and real‑time collaboration. The Körber AG solution improved throughput, accuracy, unit costs and cycle times across ~35,000 cases daily, reduced early/late shipments and lead times, eliminated physical inventories, delivered end‑to‑end visibility from Asia to store back rooms, and lowered freight costs while enabling shipments to 100 more stores.
