Drylock Multiplying storage capacity and dispatch efficiency

Drylock Technologies, a Belgium‑headquartered manufacturer of hygiene products expanding its site in Hradek nad Nisou, needed to rapidly increase storage capacity and dispatch throughput within a constrained warehouse footprint while eliminating manual handling bottlenecks. To meet these goals they engaged vendor Körber AG for a turn‑key intralogistics solution, including an automated pallet handling system with an ASRS, Warehouse Control System (WCS) integrated to ERP, visualization, conveyors and double‑mast SRMs.

Körber AG delivered a multi‑deep ASRS with satellite vehicles, RGVs, conveyors, dispatch bays and mezzanine picking, plus WCS and visualization, enabling high-density storage and automated dispatch. The solution created up to 39,000 pallet locations with only 15% of the 10,000 m² area used for access, achieved design throughput of 176 pal/h (exceeding to 200 pal/h within 4 months) and supported roughly 70 trucks/day, was implemented in 14 months, and remains easily scalable to support Drylock’s continued growth.
