Providence Genomics scales two multi-year studies with Kopius

Providence Genomics, part of the Providence healthcare system, needed to transform a beta e-consent platform into a scalable, enterprise-ready SaaS product to improve patient recruitment and engagement for its genomic studies. The challenge was to significantly enhance the platform's security, compliance, and features for broader use while shifting the internal team's mindset to meet the needs of a wider customer base. They partnered with Kopius for platform and website design and development to achieve this.

Kopius provided a nearshore team with UX/UI design, engineering, data visualization, and project management to build the rebranded Propel platform. The solution included implementing critical features like single-sign-on (SSO) and creating a dynamic, media-rich website for patient education. As a result, Kopius enabled Providence to successfully deliver a sustainable enterprise product that manages patient identities, enrollment, and electronic consent in accordance with IRB protocols, allowing the internal teams to adopt best practices and a continuous deployment model.
