A fortune 500 coffeehouse chain faced a challenge with limited insight into in-café sound levels, which inhibited its ability to identify harmful sounds and optimize store designs and operations. To address this, the company partnered with Kopius for an IoT Sound Intelligence Proof of Concept.

Kopius designed and implemented the POC by installing IoT devices that logged sound data into an isolated Azure Cloud. This data was then analyzed and delivered via a real-time PowerBI dashboard. The solution successfully captured sound intelligence, uncovering insights to help shape future store designs for better accessibility and opened avenues for predictive maintenance and operational efficiency.
