Advantage General Insurance Company - Customer Case Study

Advantage General Insurance Company, one of Jamaica’s largest insurers, needed to rebuild its employee portal to improve knowledge management and the employee experience. Its previous in-house portal was manual to update, poorly integrated with internal systems, and contributed to information overload and low portal adoption. The company worked with Kontent.ai and implementation partner Discover Digital to create a more modern, user-friendly portal.

Using Kontent.ai as the headless CMS backbone, Advantage General built an API-first employee portal that integrated with Microsoft Teams, Active Directory, Azure Search, SurveyMonkey, and an Instagram feed. The new solution simplified content creation and management, enabled flexible content presentation, and improved governance with version control. As a result, employee engagement and satisfaction increased, daily portal usage rose, and weekly survey scores improved, with admins able to focus more on content and less on system setup.
