Case Study: University of Amsterdam unifies student content with Kontent.ai

A first-class student experience for a first-class education institution

The University of Amsterdam (UvA) needed a better way to help more than 41,000 students find important study information that was spread across 30+ separate portals and maintained by multiple faculties and teams. The university chose Kontent.ai to unify this content and support a more organized, student-friendly experience through a single portal.

Kontent.ai helped UvA build a centralized content model, implement role- and permission-based access with collections, and deliver content to a custom frontend at student.uva.nl. As a result, UvA migrated 30+ sites into one unified portal, improved content governance for 80+ users, and made it much easier for students to find the right information with personalized, streamlined experiences.
