Coop digitalizes 1,100 stores with Konica Minolta Wi‑Fi

Coop, the leading retailer of consumer goods in Denmark, embarked on a comprehensive digitalization process to transform its stores and enhance customer experience. Their challenge was to implement a reliable and strong Wi-Fi infrastructure across more than 1,100 stores to serve as the foundation for new digital services and tools for both customers and staff. They partnered with their trusted IT vendor, Konica Minolta, for this project.

Konica Minolta implemented a Cisco Meraki-based Wi-Fi solution, installing and centrally monitoring the network from their office. This infrastructure enabled services like the 'Beep 'n Go' self-scanning app and new staff tools, aiming to create a more personalized shopping experience without reducing staff. The vendor's skilled technicians successfully handled the complex installation, receiving positive feedback, and provided Coop with a simpler, more reliable service and support setup that saved time and expenses.
