Kore Labs Launches Its Flagship Cloud Native Platform With Kong

Kore Labs, a SaaS provider of Product Relationship Management (PRM) for financial institutions, needed to re-architect an aging monolithic platform into a modular, API-first, cloud-native solution to support rapid growth and strict regulatory requirements. To modernize service connectivity and ensure enterprise reliability, Kore Labs adopted Kong—starting with the Kong Gateway open-source edition and then upgrading to Kong’s enterprise platform and Kubernetes Ingress Controller.

With Kong, Kore Labs implemented a modular, Kubernetes-native architecture using Kong’s enterprise features and plugin library (OAuth2, JWT, Prometheus, etc.) plus 24/7/365 support, enabling secure service routes to be provisioned in minutes and smooth partner integrations. The Kong-powered platform cut infrastructure costs by 80% through autoscaling, reduced development time dramatically (the new modular build took about one month versus eight months previously), and simplified management and compliance for regulated financial products.
