Boone County, Indiana, managed by its IT provider GUTS, faced an unsustainable 3000% growth in data, primarily from sheriff's department body and dash camera footage and courthouse records. This massive influx of data led to soaring storage costs, inefficient weekly tape backups, and lengthy disaster recovery times. The challenge was to modernize their storage environment and reduce costs without causing any disruption to county employees or applications.

The solution was implemented using the Komprise Intelligent Data Management Platform to archive cold data to Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.
