A Kodak Alaris Case Study

Preview of the Peruvian Citizens Case Study

Peruvian Citizens streamline 2016 presidential elections with 146 Kodak Alaris scanners

The customer, Peruvian citizens, faced the challenge of digitizing A3-sized electoral ballots that had been covered in plastic film for the 2016 presidential elections. This cover created a back-lit effect that threatened to compromise the legibility and quality of the scanned images, all within a process demanding the highest levels of transparency and regulatory compliance. Kodak Alaris provided a scanning solution to address this challenge.

Kodak Alaris implemented 146 KODAK i4600 Plus scanners equipped with KODAK Capture Pro Limited Edition software and Perfect Page imaging processing. This solution delivered optimum image capture quality, successfully overcoming the back-lit background issue and simplifying the information capture process. The resulting high-quality scans were approved by the accrediting IT body, ensuring the election process was carried out in a fast, transparent, and precise manner with millions of documents.
