Healthworld, a leading supplier of natural medicines in Australia and New Zealand, faced challenges in manually processing up to 40,000 paper invoices per year. The documents varied in size and quality, creating an inefficient workflow. To automate its accounts payable and integrate with SharePoint, Healthworld engaged Kodak Alaris.

Kodak Alaris implemented a solution using KODAK i4200 and i2600 scanners with KODAK Capture Pro Software for barcode recognition and document separation. This automated the capture process and output documents directly to SharePoint. The success of this project led Healthworld to expand digitization to other areas, including regulated manufacturing batch documents, which improved efficiency and eliminated the need for costly off-site storage.
