A leading multispeciality healthcare group in India faced challenges in digitizing its vast number of paper-based medical records to create Electronic Health Records (EHRs). The solution implemented by Kodak Alaris automated the end-to-end workflow with intelligent features like barcode reading, which eliminated manual pre-scan steps. This increased the number of files processed per scanner per day from 10-15 to over 50, a more than three-fold improvement. The healthcare group also improved efficiency by redeploying staff, as the new process now requires only one operator instead of two per scanner.
