UK Power Networks becomes first UK CNI operator to achieve CAF Enhanced Profile with Kocho

Kocho helped UK Power Networks, a major UK electricity distribution network operator, modernize its identity and access management. The challenge was to transition from Microsoft Identity Manager to a new platform as part of a wider cyber resilience program to meet the higher Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) Enhanced Profile required by regulators.

Working with Kocho, UK Power Networks implemented Microsoft Entra to strengthen identity governance and control across five key initiatives. This solution provided the identity transformation required for the organization to become the first UK Critical National Infrastructure operator to achieve CAF Enhanced Profile. Kocho's work directly contributed to meeting three specific CAF outcomes, significantly improving the customer's security and resilience.
