Kocho worked with Linc Cymru, a Cardiff-based housing association and care provider, to improve threat detection and security oversight for its sensitive personal data. Already using Azure, Linc Cymru wanted a modern SIEM solution and began exploring Microsoft Sentinel to gain visibility across both on-premises and cloud environments.

Kocho built a Microsoft Sentinel proof-of-concept that was configured within days, then refined over about two weeks using real security logs and weekly guidance to reduce false positives. By around a month, Sentinel was producing accurate event data and giving Linc Cymru a single view of security activity across its IT estate, helping them spot threats faster and laying the groundwork for further automation, compliance improvements, and additional integrations.
