Managing mobile devices with Intune at Sir George Monoux College

Sir George Monoux College, a state-maintained sixth form college in London serving about 2,000 students, needed a secure way to remotely manage more than 350 mobile devices used by students, staff, and governors. Working with Kocho, the college set out to control access, protect sensitive data, support BYOD, and give users a smooth experience across mixed device types.

Kocho implemented a management platform using Microsoft Intune integrated with the college’s existing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and identity infrastructure. The solution enabled single sign-on, centralized app and policy management, remote monitoring, and the ability to encrypt and wipe lost devices, giving the college a consistent, secure control environment for mobile devices, desktops, and servers.
