BDO, an international accountancy and advisory network, needed to unify its systems after merging with PKF while keeping disruption to a minimum. The company was dealing with different email platforms, legacy Lotus Notes and Domino systems, and disconnected document management processes, so it turned to Kocho for help with Microsoft Exchange Server.
Kocho designed a staged migration and coexistence plan, using Exchange and Outlook integration connectors to bring both organisations onto a single messaging platform and integrate third-party applications with the document management system. The result was a seamless unified communications environment, better support for growth, and annual savings of about £1.5 million through reduced filing and duplicate systems.
